Edition 67 - Zanzibar

Signature Serve:
30ml Zanzibar Gin served over ice with Indian Tonic. Garnish with pink or red peppercorns.

Tomatini

Ingredients
1 x market-bought heirloom Tomato
45ml Zanzibar Gin
15ml Dry Vermouth
Dash of White Balsamic Vinegar (or white wine vinegar)
Skewered Cherry Tomato, very small pinch of salt (for garnish)

Prepare
Wash, remove core and roughly chop the Tomato, then place in blender with a healthy pinch of salt.
Blend to a frappe consistency, then strain through cheesecloth or a coffee filter (this can take up to an hour), then store in fridge.

Method
Add Zanzibar Gin, Dry Vermouth, Balsamic and 30ml of Tomato Water into a mixing glass.
Add ice and stir.
Strain into your favourite martini glass.
Garnish with your skewered Cherry Tomato.

Sandstorm

Ingredients
45ml Zanzibar Gin
30ml Grand Marnier
45ml Pink Grapefruit Juice
45ml Pineapple Juice
15ml Lime Juice
15ml Sugar Syrup
Dash of Vanilla Essence
Wedge of Pineapple (for garnish)

Method
Add all ingredients to cocktail shaker, add ice and shake.
Strain into an ice-filled Collins glass.
Garnish with your pineapple wedge.
