To say that edition 58 is special is underselling it. What we have here is nothing less than biblical.
In Genesis, Jacob instructs his sons to take almonds as a gift for Joseph in Egypt. In the Book of Numbers, Aaron's rod miraculously sprouted blossoms and almonds.
At the Old Young’s Distillery, the crew are keen to explore the textural bounty found in nuts. Almonds are quite regularly used as a more luxurious botanical in gin, adding a smooth and viscous textural mouthfeel, made possible by the abundance of the nut’s fats. There’s endless possibilities out there when it comes to the subgenus Amygdalus. The team want to go to some wild and interesting new places, so the time has come to experiment with nuts.
So, c’mon – let’s go nuts.
