Crafted in collaboration with Funk Drinks Co. to celebrate World Cider Day, this gin is a fitting tribute to the humble apple.
Our goal with this edition was to maximize the use of the bountiful fresh fruit we cherish in our region. We utilized the leftover skins and pulp from Funk’s cider-making process to create an apple and cinnamon cordial, which we then used to bring the base gin down to strength.
With the weather cooling down, now’s as good a time as any to get some hearty, warming flavours into your life, and that includes warm and welcoming cocktails to enjoy on colder winter nights. We love this gin served in a Maple Hot Toddy.
The jury is still out as to whether this concoction qualifies as consuming your daily fruit count, so until we get official word, try to keep up with your five a day.
