Edition No.18 - Jungle Juice

Edition No.18 - Jungle Juice

Every now and then, the inspiration for a new gin is found in the wildest of places. And this month’s edition is brought to you by beer. Yep, our NEIPA-loving-gin-crafting-juniper-distilling-experts embarked on a trek to track down those big, juicy IPA flavours and capture them in a gin. At a cruisy 42%, our Jungle Juice has all the trademarks of a deliciously fruity and aromatically hoppy beer combined with the citrus and piney notes of gin. Call us crazy, but we’re pretty sure that makes this gin the veritable king of the beer jungle.

Signature Serve:
Pair with Fever-Tree Indian Tonic and a lemon wedge garnish.

REBEL ALLIANCE

For years, beers and dark spirits have been comrades in arms in the cocktail world, with gin left to fend for itself. But who says that the right beer and the right gin can’t be an even better combination? Certainly not us. With the idea of this little rebel alliance forming in our minds, our Jungle Juice emerged as just the gin we were looking for to go rogue with.

30ML JUNGLE JUICE

30ML CHAMBORD

100ML WHEAT BEER

GARNISH: ORANGE PEEL

1. Combine all ingredients in an ice-filled highball glass.

2. Stir gently to combine.

3. Garnish with orange peel.

ARMY AND NAVY

This classic cocktail first made an appearance in 1937, but a modified version made print a little over a decade later with a recipe that called for double the quantity of gin. Naturally we were big fans of that particular decision. There’s a delicious boozy and sour complexity to this simple recipe, designed with one thing in mind - to bring the best out in the gin.

60ML JUNGLE JUICE

30ML ORGEAT SYRUP

30ML LEMON JUICE

GARNISH: LEMON PEEL TWIST

1. Add all ingredients to an ice-filled cocktail shaker.

2. Shake well.

3. Double strain into a chilled coupette.

4. Garnish with a lemon peel twist.
