Edition No.11 - Paw Paw

For too long, paw paws have been doing it tough. Firstly, is it pawpaw, paw-paw, paw paw or perhaps papaya? Calling out from the fruit box year-round, these aromatic delights sit waiting for the opportunity to shine in something other than skin care, yet knowing that every summer they’ll be passed over by distillers in favour of yet another peach gin. Well no longer! Rescuing those exotic paw paws from the depths of winter, we paired them with mangos, banana and vanilla to give them new life in a delightfully tropical gin. We’ve kept the strength slightly lower to accentuate those spectacular fruity flavours, crank up the much-needed sunshine vibes, and give our Paw Paw gin a beautiful sweet note to finish on.

Signature Serve

Top with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic and garnish with basil and black peppercorns.

The Walking Dead

Traditionally, the Zombie is a rum-based Tiki cocktail, so with July being host to both World Rum Day and Black Tot Day, it’s the perfect time to reawaken this 1930’s classic drink. And just like the original Zombie, but with a gin-based twist, The Walking Dead is a boozy beverage. With its fruity notes and tropical vibes, our Paw Paw brings the necessary radiance to this cocktail which is equal parts deadly and delicious.
