Edition No.13 - Jörð

Edition No.13 - Jörð

This gin is another edition of Pete exploring flavours that he likes and seeing if they work in a gin. A trip to Kakulas (aka the distillers' dream) resulted in him taking home both fresh beetroot and powdered beetroot and seeing if he could craft a gin. To complement the earthiness of the beets, he added dill - which also gave it a little spiciness. The name Jörð means earth.

Pete

Fun Fact:
The Vikings were the first people to grow beetroots commercially, which is why we went with an old Norse name for the gin. And we love The Office, so we were never going to miss an opportunity to have that featured on the label.
